Honestly, I just water them, replant the runners once they have rooted (share with friends), and put coffee grounds and grass clippings on them. Works great for me. I have lots of other things to stay on top of in my garden.

I grew perfect strawberries but unfortunately I didn’t get to eat them. The squirrels, rabbits, opossums, and birds that live in my backyard got to them first. I did manage to get one strawberry out of it 😂

You're only suppose to pick the flowers off 1st year strawberry plants and only the first set of flowers…….all these "expert" gardeners don't even give out the right information to people. I will admit this is one of the better gardeners but I am still disappointed in him because he should know better.

I've learned literally so much from his channel. Immediately pruning my strawberry flowers after seeing this. This dude and his people are freaking awesome.

Why would you remove the runners ? 🤷‍♀️don’t or wouldn’t you want them to produce MORE plants 🪴? I’m confused 😵‍💫

But why wouldn’t you just propagate using the runner?

So you just throw away the runners? Because I was told to clip them and put them in the dirt to grow to and do not throw them out. So what do you think I should do with the runners?
