My grandmother started her garden with hotbed planting. I loved going to her house as a child. I'm Almost 70 now and still gardening, although I do it indoors because our weather is so harsh where I live

Couldnt that even be better, when you devide the bed in 2 parts, that are touching, but you can pull out the down part with compost stuff.
Above living soil bed, undisturbed and under that a thing that you can pull out and fill it up with composting material 🤔

Very cool, but like so many gardening tips & insights it's effectively useless in a persistently high wind area. Try that in the High Plains and that cover will be in the next county before you know it.

Don’t forget to garden with lots of lead to match the Romana and their self inflicted poisoning! But really cool, thanks

I use hot beds in my greenhouse so I don't have to heat it. USDA hardiness zone 4, I can't plant early spring greens outside until May. But I have rocket sprouts coming up right now in my hot beds. No additional heat inputs

Amazing! sometimes i have a hard time getting the hose to turn on or off. Weak grip or wet hands? I found a great product that helps with all these problems. Comes in a 2 pack, one for the front yard and one for the backyard. Faucet Grip
